Police Nation: Highway Patrol is our first full-fledged mobile game, which is initially being created for Android (and eventually for iOS). Unlike Pixel Cops, which was created without being bound to the platform and was more of a cool idea than a reality, in the new “police” project we undertook to implement what can really be done at our level of capabilities.

The game is based on the same idea of patrolling the streets in one of the cruisers. However, the choice fell on highways and interstates. It’s also relatively easier for us, we can test our ideas and be more likely to do things as planned. But it’s also kind of interesting – we didn’t find similar games in the mobile store. Yes, there are games of this genre, and there are quite a few. But not at the wheel of a police car.

And so, what is the game about?

The concept is the same – you have to take on the role of a state police officer (Trooper), choosing one of the available cars* and go on patrol on the highways. The prototype location in California, and the structure is Highway Patrol of this state, respectively.

As part of the game, you will be able to stop other cars, make arrests, and participate in chases. Several marked and unmarked vehicles are presented to players, which can be obtained by *performing certain metrics (ratings).
